Finn Anderson is a local Philadelphian & Haligonian poet, playwright, and archivist of words. His work has been produced, published, and printed on stages, in literary magazines, and newspapers such as the Philadelphia Inquirer. Wielding his words via typewriter, his best work appears in the flash; restricted by a pocket-sized page, drying ink, and the fast-paced prerogative of strangers. Together, Finn and his typewriter have conquered music festivals, pride celebrations, and private events from the Northeast United States to the Canadian maritimes. Providing a personalized poem and experience for each stranger he meets, he is constantly inspired by the stories and faces that breathe real life into his art.

Frequently Asked Questions
I arrive at your event with my 1957 Remington Letter-Riter and 4x6 cardstock. Dressed for the occasion, I sit at a table as guests approach me with a poem topic. I then write a short poem inspired by our conversation and gift it to them as a special keepsake!
Each poem takes around 2-3 minutes. I can complete 15-20 poems per hour if consistently busy.
I offer flexible pricing based on the event size, duration, and location. Please contact me with specific details in order to receive a custom quote.
I typically write free verse poetry, but the finished product is largely up to the guests' topics! Every poem serves as a unique reflection of each individual.
